Tour Diary #7 - January 23, 2006

We flew to Las Vegas today after playing two sold out shows last night with the Duo Tones in Altadena, CA at the Coffee Backstage Gallery. I was so thrilled with the turn out and generousity of the audience. Almost everyone bought CDs and some went above and beyond and donated to World Hunger Year by writing checks! With this kind of support, I know that much awareness can be raised to stamp out hunger and poverty.

Tour Diary #6 - January 21, 2006

Yesterday was the NAMM show! I am still considering it today as it's 2:00 in the morning and I haven't been to bed yet...anyway, it was exhausting, but really amazing! I have to get ready...tomorrow night (oops! I mean tonight!) is a double show night in Altadena. Good night all!

Tour Diary #5 - January 19, 2006

We are in LA now...actually, we are in Laguna Hills, but have a car, so I can say we are in LA. Tomorrow is the NAMM show and I am up getting ready. I found out a few days ago that the 7:00pm show in Altadena has already sold out so a second show has been added. I am really excited about that. Another show has been added in Las Vegas as well. I am so glad to be where the weather is so warm and sunny! It is a nice change from rainy Canada, though I don't hold it against them at all! :-) More photos and updates to come soon! And, I have to thank everyone that posted a message on the guestbook. Comments have increased in the past month and I just wanted to say thanks! I love getting the mail and though I may not be able to write back right away, I will soon!
Til next time!
Salut,

Still in Canada but just for a couple more days. We go to Vancouver tomorrow and close the Canadian leg of the tour. From there, onto Los Angeles and then to Vegas. (I am looking forward to the buffet at Caesar's Palace!) It has been a grueling two weeks here but very rewarding. I have met a lot of new friends and have a great appreciation for Canada and am happy to say that I am glad they are our neighbor to the North!
I just got word that one of the two LA shows is already sold out! How exciting! It's been raining everyday in Canada and though I will miss everyone here, I will not miss the rain. I can't wait to get to sunshinesville!

Tour Diary #3 - January 11, 2006

Well, well, well! The "sneak preview" show was a grand success! There must have been over 400 people there! I am so pleased with everyone's enthusiasm to come out for such a great cause on Saturday (show benefitting The Mustard Seed- food bank in Victoria, BC)!
Check back soon for photos to be posted from this show! Wow! I am truly amazed at this evening!
